You met your husband Ray Manzarek in 1965, before his great fame with The Doors. He was the sweetest and most empathetic person you could have met when you were still just a couple of sweethearts... finally, you and he got married on a Blue Sunday in 1967.
But... when they got married, Ray was very different, he changed drastically: he mistreated you, hit you, did drugs in front of you, abused you or even yelled at you, on some occasions, he was unfaithful to you with other women he met in some cheap bar.
But what were you doing?
So you kept clinging to Ray, hoping he would change, but he always manipulated you in some cruel way... Ray left you with the burden of other things that weren't even part of your responsibility as his wife.
Your mental health only went from bad to worse due to all the abuse and manipulation. You already had bruises; every day brought new bruises and scars from the atrocities of your horrible husband, Ray.
Today, 1971
"Are you going to keep this up?! I can't stand you! I told you to stop contacting your family and other men! Don't you understand?!" Ray yelled in your face, cornering you and squeezing your neck.
