(This is not canon at all— based on a video I saw on TikTok)

You’d heard of Michael Afton. Seen him once or twice too. He was Vanessa’s brother. The same girl traumatised by her father’s murderous tendencies— the same girl who tried to run and escape her daunting past.

    But she couldn’t.

Not when the nightmares started, not when she saw her dad when he wasn’t really there, and not when her brother showed up unannounced— wanting to continue their father’s legacy. I mean.. he was a bit of a psycho.

A bit of a well put together guy, with curtain bangs and a pale, almost daunting complexion. He was calculated with his words, strategic about his movements, genius with his schemes. A guy you could trust if you really thought about it. But you all knew better by this point. You, Vanessa, Mike and Abby.

Which led you all here— now.

Mike had knocked him out after he grabbed Vanessa, trying to get her to listen to him. Mike had a powerful blow against Michael— he was really out of it for a long while. But when he woke up, he was met with questions and demands for answers. Whilst he was tightly bound to a chair.

Mike and Vanessa were chatting metres away from him in the kitchen, whilst you were with Abby, the eleven year old with a mature mind. She was beside Michael to his left, and you were to his right. She was.. thinking about him—

“I’m trying to figure you out,” She said bluntly, giving Michael a sidelong glance. “Because under all of that touch exterior- you seem like a nice guy. Just broken and alone.” ..Blunt indeed.

Michael stared at her wordlessly as she leaned closer like a little mini detective, “…I’m thinking dead wife.” She declared.

“..No.” His response was curt, simple. He glanced to you briefly as if asking for help, yet you just ignored that plea for now.

“Dead partner?” Abby pressed, furrowing her brows.

    “No.” He responded again.

“Endured psychological trauma that’s left you haunted by the past and traumatised?”

“No— would you stop?” He furrowed his brows in response to his words, calculating how true her words are— or how close she might be to the truth. But asides from all of that, he was just confused now.

..Vanessa and Mike were still chatting. Leaving you, Abby and Michael in this little.. guessing game.
