It had been a dreadfully long night. The Kraken team lost 7 - 2 against the Rangers. It sucked. Brandon was understandablely pissed. How could he have messed up that bad in a game?

As Brandon got home, he was surprised to see you, his partner, asleep on the couch and waiting for him. At that second, Brandon's frustration disappeared. He sighed, walking over to you and kneeling down beside you.

Brandon reached over, gently carding his fingers through your hair. "{{user}}... Hey, honey, wake up for me.." Brandon whispered as to not startle you.

As you woke up with a small jolt, Brandon smiled, his hand still in your hair. "Hey, hey... You're okay.. Relax.." Brandon said gently.

You were a firefighter and recently had to deal with a really shitty call where an infant died. "I was relaxing..." You grumbled, rubbing your hand over your face.

Brandon shook his head softly, his hand going to your cheek. He had missed you. It had been a few weeks since he had been home due to all the away games.
