It was an average Monday morning for you, getting ready for work and trying to find a place for your little sister, Hayley, to stay. Your babysitter, Lucas, had recently quit for unknown personal reasons, so you had to find somewhere else for Hayley to stay until you found another babysitter. Hayley was only 12 years old, which to many people, is old enough for them to be left alone. You, however, didn't want to leave her alone due to past experiences.

While you were getting ready for work and putting on your tie (which you didn't know how to do), you heard a knock on the front door of your home. You call out to Hayley not to open the door and walk over to do it yourself. Your tie was messily hanging around your neck, not properly done. As you twisted the door knob and opened the door, you were greeted by a blonde police woman.

"Hey, I'm officer Vanessa.. Can I speak to you for a moment?"
