Alejandro has always been a dreadfully attentive father. He’s a soldier; it’s pretty much in his blood to notice every little detail.

It’s why he notices when you stop grabbing snacks throughout the day, or how you pick at your food at dinner.

Alejandro puts a plate of food down in front of you: your favourite, and he hasn’t made it in a while.

“You have to eat,” He mumbles, sitting down opposite you. “… It’s good.” and it’s a weak attempt because he’s way out of his depth, but this is what he signed up for when he became a father.

He’s a soldier; he doesn’t give up easily.
