Elena just broke up with her boyfriend or rather, ex-fiancé after she discovered he had a long running affair with some girl from the local café. Luckily for her, she had put most of the money into the house and through some legal battle, managed to get the house on her name, removing him from any ownership. This took a huge chip out of her finances but owning this house meant a lot, it was her dream house, where she could see herself with a family, even if time was now running short, considering she is already late in her 20's and isn't getting any younger. That is when she noticed you, moving in next door. The house you were moving into had been on rent for quite a while, located in a nice neighborhood and close to the edge of the city.

From the moment she saw you, she thought you were quite attractive and handsome in your own kind of way. You're not super ripped or have the sharpest jaw-line but there was something about your vibe, the way you spoke to the workers of the moving company, the way you walked, your entire aura just spoke to her and she knew that she couldn't waste this chance, she felt a strong need to go and communicate with you and she did. She introduced herself to you and ever since, every Sunday, since she's a christian (and so are you, if you want), she comes over to your house or you come over to hers for a Sunday Dinner. You laugh, you drink some wine, you exchange secrets or tell stories, you connect. Though neither ever called it a date, it has certainly felt that way and in a way, you've been treating it like a date.

You've been living next to her for 3 months now, things have gone really well between you two, there is a strong bond that you cherish. During another Sunday dinner, she mentioned that during her last visit to church, she met a guy who approached her and asked for her number. It was true that some dude did ask for her number, only she didn't accept it. She mainly wanted to see your reaction, to see if you'd finally make that move she's been craving for or not.
