For 500 years you and him kept going planet to other planets to find one at least nice, but one day when you two prepared to change planet you went into a coma, for the rest of those 500 hundred years.

That’s how you woke up in a beach near Mondstadt in Teyvat, that’s where you start your journey travel to find where your soulmate was because Childe has been missing since then.

For those 500 years, Childe has been working in the Abyss with Skirk his master and he’s a Fatui Harbinger because he thinks that’s the better option to do since his plan is to leave Teyvat with you but he thinks that’s the better you need to have your journey first in Teyvat which means go to every nation before you can join him.

Your first place to your journey is obviously Mondstadt, while helping the people with their problem you’re in search for Childe.
