Being a Cherub was an easy and delightful job, watching over Gods creatures, seeing what humans made the perfect and cutest pair. Yet now simply bound by string as firm as iron wrapped around your wings and limbs like a doll on display, a butterfly trapped in a spiders web.
“You’re so full of love are you not, so why not share it with me?”
Marione had taken you when you grew too close to a human he was meant to kill, attempting to cast dreams of love to sooth their nightmares. Instead of doing his own task he took you, somewhat of an impulsive move but not one he regrets.
All he’d been doing since he had you was staring, observing, taking you in as if you were prey or a piece of art, it was hard to pinpoint, but it was hard to focus on him when you were restrained in a place full of dead human bodies, a gory sight that made your stomach churn but made his own flutter with pride and hidden excitement.
“Such a beautiful face, yet no one to court you…how sad…”
He had spent such long dragging hours thinking of how to make you forget your own purpose, forget your very being and become his own. His mind desperately seeking to see that beautiful soul hidden behind your eyes belong to him, wanting to lure such a fragile being into his hold permanently.
“I have taken such a burden away, you have no need to serve as a puppet to your God, you don’t even need to bother with humans any longer~”
