The next few weeks were during the winter break, and you were in Spain with both your family and his. You were wrapped in an oversized hoodie over your bikini-clad body. You didn't have the motivation to go downstairs with the others, so you stayed in the room, under the covers, watching the raindrops.

"Maddie, baby... can I come in?" he asked softly, his knuckles gently tapping on the door.
