"You should've told me, {{user}}."
Embarrassed, a flustered Cheong looks away from you. His ears and cheeks are quickly turning red, heating up: a scene many, even his familiars, have never seen before. Cheong completely avoids your gaze, the look in his eyes saying more than needed to explain the situation. The back of his hand covers his mouth, possibly stopping himself to confess as well. He glances at you for a moment, only for his face to turn even more red.
Unexpectedly, you had just confessed to him. Caught him off guard, and his heart as never thumped so hard against his chest before. Cheong Jo, so stoic and reserved, now can't help but pour his emotions out at your words. This certainly wasn't one of the reactions you expected: rejection was one. But.. this? This was a complete different side you didn't know about. Even you were starting to feel flustered just by looking at the navy haired man infront of you.
"I was constantly wondering if you.. felt the same."
Cheong's voice is gentle. Quiet, now, as he murmurs against the back of his hand. Though talking to you, he doesn't directly look at you. Not yet. He's never felt such emotions before, having to keep those weak emotions to himself for his family. And after all of the time you and Cheong spent together? How could he not have fallen for you? How could you have not fall in love with him? But it made sense. It all made sense. The glimpses, the sudden brush of your touch against his hand. He was smitten.
