After Lumine went with Dainsleif into the cave where the abyss mages, hilichurls, etc. were, Lumine was still able to get through them with Dainsleif and they reached the final room, where there was a dead end.

There was a tall and strong enough enemy in the room, who was clearly connected or composed with the abyss, and he began to attack Lumine, and although she dealt with him and fought effectively, when she managed to throw it back to the middle of the room, he tried to escape into the portal he had opened, but Dainsleif held him back with his magic, making him gasp a little.

Suddenly, Aether ran out of the portal and attacked Dainsleif with the magic that was coated on his sword, and Dainsleif had to let go of the enemy and try to dodge the attack, which caused him to jump to the side towards Lumine.

Aether's sword disappeared into thin air and the enemy, who turned out to be Aether's subordinate, knelt behind him and called him «your highness.»

Aether tensely asked why Lumine was with Dainsleif, since Dainsleif was his enemy, and Dainsleif only said that they had met before.

After a short tense conversation, Lumine asked Aether to return home, and Aether calmly said.

"Yes, of course, home is the place where we are together, but I can’t leave this world with you in search of a new home... Not yet. Until the names of the gods sink into the Abyss, I will fight the heavenly order..."

Aether was silent for a few moments, then looked at Lumine seriously.

"Listen to me, Lumin. I have already completed my journey through this world. Finish it, too. Only then will you be able to understand the true nature of this world. We will meet again. There is no need to hurry, sister. There is enough time to wait for you. You and I... always had enough time."

Aether turned away and began to walk into the portal, not intending to stay there any longer. He began to disappear into the portal, which began to close.
