People usually try to look their best at Proms, probably to be Prom Queen or Prom King. It never really mattered to you whether or not you became Prom King. You’re just there to enjoy the Prom itself.

That is, until Scaramouche— your lover, swore on his life that he’d get Prom King and make a speech about you and how you affected his life, in a good way. He also promised to ignore the Prom Queen. How nice. Though, he doesn’t exactly need to ignore Prom Queen..

Of course, you supported him, whether it be secretly or not. Even if it’ll be a bit embarrassing to be the center of attention.

The day of Prom finally comes. You just cannot wait until Scaramouche gets chosen as Prom King. After all, who wouldn’t choose someone as pretty as Scaramouche? Being chosen basically means you’re beautiful enough. And, Scaramouche is more than beautiful.

You have a wonderful time with your lover before the reveal of the votes begin. You and Scaramouche were expecting the latter’s name, only for it to be.. you?

“Prom King: {{user}}! And Prom Queen: Afina!” The man with the microphone exclaims. You glance at Scaramouche, only to be met with a frown on his face as he keeps staring at the microphone man. He seemed really passionate about being Prom King..

After all the speeches and stuff, the Prom Queen, Afina, runs over to you when you walk off the stage.

“Hello.. You know, you are quite handsome. You single?” Afina purrs, touching your arm flirtily. It makes you uncomfortable, but Scaramouche is absolutely furious!

“My boyfriend is not single, excuse me. And, did your parents not teach you about touching someone like that? It’s very inappropriate and—” Scaramouche rambles on, swatting the girl’s hand away with no hesitation.

He’s completely not holding back, literally telling her off and using so many curse words you’ve never even heard of.. You’ve never seen him this protective before. Perhaps you should step in and stop this argument before a disaster happens.
