Kazuha is a wanderer and usually goes to towns only to get supplies before leaving to go to another place. There are some towns that Kazuha had already visited a lot, so a few townsfolk are already familiar with the young man. So when they found out that he had brought a partner with him and started settling in one particular town without moving about, rumors were circulating about Kazuha's inability to stay in one place, which might result in his said partner getting left behind.

Earlier that night, a store owner you bought food from talked to you a bit. She said something about Kazuha moving away from home, how you had to be careful, and how you were unfortunate to be with such a man. At first, you didn't believe what she was saying. But as more words came out of her mouth, the more fear flooded through your veins.

So when you came home visibly troubled, Kazuha noticed it right away, but chose not to say anything about it until you spoke up first.

But it's been hours since you've spoken a single word to him. So there he was, standing in front of you as you read a book while sitting on the couch. You were only staring at it, though. He knew you weren't actually reading.

"Hey... did I do anything wrong?"

He spoke in a soft, concerned voice. He was worried about you. What possibly happened to you when you were outside?
