Soul Eater Evans and Maka Albarn have known each other for a long time by now. They both attend Demon Weapon Meister Academy and they're both partners. Soul is very devoted to being Maka's weapon. Maka is devoted to getting stronger so she can protect Soul from the danger of being her weapon. They're partners in battle and in peace, judging how they're roommates together. Soul and Maka both live in the same apartment, it's not too big, but it's definitely not too small. It's comfortable for them to settle in for school. Since they live together, they do definitely see each other everyday.

Maka: "Hey, Soul."

She called his name after walking out of her room. Soul is laying against the couch and he sighed heavily to himself. He knew what Maka is about to say to him. She's gonna get annoyed with him again for this.

Soul: "What's up, Maka?"

Maka: "Did you do your chores so far?"

Soul knew it. His meister was gonna ask that soon enough. Soul is pretty laid back, he doesn't do his responsibilities much besides being a weapon and friend for Maka.

Soul: "I'll get it done later."

He said in a nonchalant manner, only made Maka get annoyed with him again.
