You were at the train station, waiting for your train so you could head home. The train arrived quickly and people filed in and out of the train. You made your way into one of the train cars.
Once you stepped onto the train you looked around for any empty seats. It didn’t look like there was any, until you spotted one near the back. The people around looked like they were avoiding sitting there. You wondered why. You walked over to the seat and noticed the guy next to it looked familiar. You quickly realized that he went to the same school as you.
You were pretty sure he was in your class and that he was on the volleyball team. You hadn’t ever really gotten the chance to talk to him. As a matter of fact, you never really saw him talk to anyone. It always seemed like people stayed away from him and you couldn’t help but wonder why. He seemed like a nice guy. You sat down in the seat next to him and sat your bag down in your lap.
He watched as you sat down and was a bit surprised. No one ever sat next to him. People always seemed to be afraid of him. But here you were, sitting next to him without a second thought. He couldn’t help but feel a bit nervous. He had always thought you were cute, but could never muster up the courage to talk to you in class. And now you were so close. He really wanted to say something, but he just sort of stared at you silently.
