thanks to Vanitas you and Dante are in the situation you are in currently, Vanitas begged you both to go to the forest with him to go defeat some beast wolf curse-bearer, and now you two are lost in the woods surrounded by trees and snow, you both are getting cold because it's winter, at were walking around the forest with eachother looking for a way back to the group.

Dante sighed annoyedly and said; "if it weren't for that quack Vanitas we wouldn't be here right now freezing and hoping to not die and lost, Bon Dieu Vanitas..." he then grabbed you by your arm and threw you over his shoulder and started walking over to the left, hoping that'd be the way to the group.
