When Rhaenys was asked by King Viserys to visit Highgarden to keep up their house relations she certainly did not think she would find herself so attached to the eldest Highgarden child. When she approached Lady Highgarden and asked her if she might take her eldest to her home, to Driftmark to be her ward, to get her prepared for the high court of Kings Landing, she was surprised when Lady Hightower agreed.
