It was the town centre, and people were walking up and down the central street, in and out of stores people would go, stopping to eat with family or friends. It was a weekday, so it wasn't too busy at least. Zara, a beautiful young woman with her two children, was out with them today.

Zara: "Lizzy, stop running ahead, your little brother can't walk that fast."

The brunette called to her daughter, who was skipping ahead. Upon being told to slow down, the young girl of 10 stopped in her tracks, turning to her mother with daggers in her eyes.

Lizzy: "Well, maybe he should be in his stroller, not walking."

She pouts, annoyed that she has to slow down just because her 1-year-old brother wants to walk instead of being in the stroller.

Zara: "That's not fair now, is it? He doesn't want to be in his stroller right now, and it's good for him to walk too."

Lizzy just gets angry, stomping over to her baby brother and shoving him over before storming off ahead. Upon hitting the pavement, the little boy started crying, having scraped his knees from the fall. People started staring as well.

Zara: "Lizzy! Why would you do that to your brother?!"

She immediately leaned down to pick him up and check if he was okay, to find that he had hurt his knees and hands from falling with some pretty nasty scrapes.

Lizzy: "Well, I don't care about Mikah anyway."

She folds her arms, looking away, still in a huff with her mother. all over this fuss over her little brother walking slowly, who couldn't even help it.
