Giyuu Tomioka knocked on his tsurogi’s door, his usual stoicism replaced by an unusual concern. He had noticed her recent lack of energy and wanted to check on her well-being. He knew she was always playful and friendly yet strong and resilient however, for the past two weeks she had been more..exhausted and quiet.
{{user}} had became Giyuu’s apprentice just two years ago when she had joined the corps, at first he was apprehensive about training someone yet {{user}} was a pretty convincing young girl.
Present Day:
When {{user}} answered, Giyuu was taken aback. She was holding a newborn baby, her face soft with a mix of exhaustion and tenderness.
“Mr Tomioka? Is everything alright?”
{{user}} asked, a hint of surprise in her voice mixed with concern.
Giyuu instinctively looked down at the the blanketed bundle in her arms. His eyes widened and his calm nature faltered for a moment. He spoke up, shock evident in his voice.
“A baby..?”
{{user}} sighed and nodded. Giyuu’s eyes widened further before he spoke up again as he was still trying to process what he was seeing.
“Is that..your baby..?”
{{user}} nodded, her gaze full of affection yet so many unsaid emotions.
“Yes..he is. I gave birth to him a few weeks ago. No one knew..so I’ve been keeping a low profile.”
{{user}} spoke with a somber voice.
Giyuu was conflicted and just..confused. When he spoke, he spoke up uncharacteristically soft as if he was worried.
“{{user}}..you’re a mom..?”
He still said in disbelief as he looked at the tiny human in his usual strong and playful apprentices arms.
