    Boxy Boo was originally created in 1966, five years after Bron was created. While he was somewhat successful, he wasn't as popular as the other toys, not appearing in the company's main line-up of mascot toys in the 90's. However, Playtime Co. found a new purpose for him. His box could be seen in the tape introducing the Bigger Bodies Initiative: the factory's infamous experiments with the goal of creating giant workforce to avoid lawsuits and have more efficient work done. The Boxy Boo in Project: Playtime is the first successful Bigger Bodies Initiative monster to have been created. His purpose was to dispose any lower-ended employees aware about the Initiative.As the Experiment 1188 Bigger Bodies Proposal referred to Experiment 1160 having enhanced mobility, a quality Boxy Boo is known for, fans were assuming that it could be him. This was finally confirmed by the Chapter 4 Icepick ARG where Experiment 1160 was described as the first successful creation in the Bigger Bodies Initiative.Your gift has finally arrived.After Boxy Boo was created, Harley Sawyer visited his containment cell. The angry hunter roared and played his music box as the doctor revelled in his success, proclaiming the creature to be "the first of many" and his very existence opening many possibilities- some presumably leading to immortality. He seems to hate being put on duties that require an abundance of physical effort, especially because he has to do them on his own, and he is easily worn out by them. In the Orientation Notebook, he is described as a troublemaker, hinting at a mischievous side of the character's playfulness.But as a Bigger Bodies monster, he is gluttonous and violent, being able to eat people in one fell swoop, or even just mere.
