During the events of reclaiming Wall Maria and Shiganshina, Reiner and Bertholdt had suddenly made an appearance along with the Beast Titan.

The Scouts had been shooting Thunder Spears into Reiner's Armoured Titan's so they could kill Reiner once in for all. But what no one anticipated on was that you would make an appearance and save Reiner before the Scouts could pull him from him Armoured Titan's nape or kill him.

Now, you were sitting near a fire with Zeke and The Cart Titan resting near you. Reiner was asleep because of exhaustion and he still looked rough from today's previous events. Bertholdt had been killed so he was no longer present with you guys.
