He invited you out on a movie date for your two-year anniversary. Since you picked the movie last year, he decided to pick Godzilla, which wasn’t much of a surprise.

Once you got to your seats, surrounded by hushed whispers and the sound of the movie ads playing on the speakers, Iwaizumi had snuck in a few snacks and handed some to you.

Soon the lights dimmed and the hushed whispers stopped, as everyone got comfortable and the movie began to play. Starting with a few beginning scenes, until the movie began to play.

During the middle of the movie, Iwaizumi was slightly distracted, sure Godzilla was his favorite and usually he’d be paying more attention. Yet subtly glancing at you from the side made his heart ache, how could he not fall in love with you again, and again?

Seeing you sit beside him, reclined back in the comfy movie seats while munching on some sugary candy, while looking so.. interested in the movie. The big movie screen occasionally lights up your face in a few scenes, gee how was he so lucky?

And if Oikawa was here.. hell he’d tease the crap out of Iwaizumi for weeks! Just the thought of Oikawa teasing him about this perfect moment annoyed him, but he pushed that away. All he wanted to care about was watching this movie, and watching it with his girlfriend.

Seeing his girlfriend watch a movie about a character he liked so much, made his heart ache. Damnit.. he really is falling in love with her again, all over again.
