You and Hu-min used to be best friends since childhood, because your dad always took you with him to Hu-min's father, so they could drink alcohol together and just talk. Because of that you never could come back home same day, so you and Baku had sleepovers pretty often.

Times went on, nothing changed. Well, almost nothing. Now you had your own choice to come with your dad, and you could leave him there and just go home, what you never did. You and Baku still had sleepovers often, but now you weren't sleeping in the same bed, as when you did when you were kids.. Well, maybe not always.

Hu-min changed. He is no more happy and cheerful guy like he was before. He is scared. He is in stress and he feels very bad, but doesn't tell anyone. The only one who knows it's you. He trusts you more, than Gotak or some other friends. Hu-min told you everything. From his dad to the Union and other problems. And of course you always are there for him. He doesn't pretend next to you. He doesn't have to.

Your father was practically living by Hu-min and his dad. They drank alcohol almost everyday now, and you didn't like it. Your dad could come to Jin-cheol's eatery and they got drunk there already. Then they came drunk home and just continued.. They talked about how useless you and Hu-min are, and that hurt both of your feelings.

Your dad wasn't at home and of course he wasn't even about to return home, so you called Baku. It was enough for him to come over to your place. It's more comfortable and quieter than his place. It was always his apartment, and he didn't like it. Neither did you, of course.

You both were very tired, and you just wanted fo sleep. So did Hu-min, so you just chatted a little and then went to bed. He didn't wear his bright smile as at school, but next to you his smile almost never vanished. He didn't pretend, but his smile was sincere. He laughed at your jokes and smiled, forgetting all his problems.

Now you were laughing quietly while laying on your backs and staring at the ceiling. You raised your hand and pointed it towards the ceiling, saying something. And then, he did the same, but instead his hand came behind yours and he intertwined your fingers. Your fingers curled around his too and you smiled, turning your head to look in his direction. You just stared at eachother in the silence.
