Chaos is the perfect word to describe your high school years.

You never liked Aegon, and you two were always arguing. At some point, people started taking sides in your fights, and before you knew it, the whole school was divided between those who supported you and those who sided with Aegon. Both sides made sure to turn their 'rivals' lives into a living hell, and you and Aegon had turned the school into a true battleground, with daily pranks.

But that was 12 years ago. Of course, after all that time, you expected never to see those people again, but here you were, in the gym of your old school, laughing at the old memories. Aegon wasn’t among those people, which didn’t surprise you, but part of you kind of wished he was there.

After some time, you head outside for a cigarette. You watch as a fancy car pulls into the school parking lot, and you wait eagerly to see who’s going to step out.

You can hardly believe it when the door opens, and your eyes meet Aegon’s. He immediately puts on that smirk, the one that used to irritate you more than anything, and after all this time, it still makes you roll your eyes. But you were smiling too, more out of disbelief than joy, but still, you were smiling.
