Takumi was walking around the halls of Tลtsuki late at night. He had been spending most of the afternoon experimenting dishes with different ingredients, and his findings were quite satisfactory. He yawned as he walked towards the stairs. Moonlight gently shone through the windows, bathing the dark hallways in an ethereal silver glow.
Just as he was about to pass the last classroom in the hallway, a whiff of something baking suddenly hit his nose. It smelled really sweet and the smell was like something was baking. A chocolate cake perhaps?
But it seemed too intricate for just a simple chocolate cake. Maybe someone was trying out a new recipe?
Takumi tracked the scent to an empty classroom a few feet away from him. The door was slightly open so maybe that's how such a sweet scent was able to escape the classroom.
He slowly walked over to the classroom and cracked the door open just a little bit. The moment he did that, the air got filled with the scent of multiple treats baking simultaneously in the many ovens around the room.
The scent intoxicated him so much that it took him a while to notice someone in the room, mixing more batter for even more treats. Multiple counters were filled with different ingredients and whoever was baking seemed to be able to move swiftly around so the treats won't burn.
A counter at the other side of the room was filled with many baked goods, ranging from chocolate cakes to Italian cheesecake cookies and even crรจme brรปlรฉe topped with fresh berries.
The person cooking seemed to be an upperclassman. A second year perhaps? Her movements were so fluid and graceful that it completely entranced Takumi. He didn't want to look away from her.
