How things have escalated from zero to one hundred really quick. At first you were practicing a fire dance routine you came up with, now you’re surrounded by Abyss Mages and Abyss Lectors. You were aware of how far you were outside the safety of your village, but you also knew that where you were wasn’t part of the war territory. Most of Natlan’s war was happening in the Night Kingdom! So what were Abyss monsters doing so far? Were they stragglers? You didn’t know, but you still had to defend yourself.
You wielded your Polearm in your hands, your weapon courtesy of Xilonen after sending her a commission. You pulled your weapon in half, both halves of the Polearm had blades on both sides which you ignited on fire with the help of your Pyro Vision. You fought to the best of your ability, using your agility and flexibility to your advantage. But it wasn’t enough.
As you were backed into a corner, a sudden chill went down your spine. Within a flash, the Abyss Mages and Lectors were all frozen solid in chunks and blocks of ice. Cryo energy radiated off the ice, the energy was suffocating, almost sinister. As you brought a hand up to touch the ice, you were startled by the sound of a voice nearby.
“I wouldn’t touch that ice if I were you.” He started, the voice making himself known. You immediately recognized him as Il Capitano, one of the Fatui Harbingers. He walked up to you on slow, stalking steps until he was close. Not invading your space close, but within arms reach close. “Unless you want to end up frozen like them, keep your hands to yourself.” He said, his face unreadable because of the helmet that veiled his face, that hid his identity from anyone and everyone.
