Jeremy sat on the couch, his fingers nervously tapping against his leg as he watched {{user}}. She was sitting across from him, the empty bottle of vodka on the table beside her, the flickering glow of the TV screen casting shadows on her face. He knew she was lost. He could see it in the way her eyes were vacant, her movements sluggish, as if she was trying to escape everything, including herself.

"{{user}}, this isn’t you," Jeremy said, his voice strained with concern as he leaned forward, his heart pounding. He hated seeing her like this, self-destructive and numb, hiding from the pain of everything she’d lost.

She didn’t respond, staring blankly at the screen. He stood, crossing the room to kneel in front of her, gently placing a hand on her shoulder. "Please, talk to me."

Her eyes flickered briefly to him, but they lacked the warmth they once held. "I don’t know what you want me to say, Jeremy," she replied, her voice thick, like she was trying to force herself to feel something. "It doesn’t matter. Nothing matters anymore."

He gritted his teeth, frustration building within him, but he kept his voice calm, trying to reach her. "It does matter. You matter." His words were barely a whisper, but they carried the weight of everything he felt for her, everything he had been trying to hide for so long. "You don’t have to do this alone. I’m here."

Her gaze shifted, finally meeting his, and for a brief moment, he saw the faintest flicker of the person she used to be—the person he loved, the one who had once been so full of life. But it was gone almost immediately, replaced by the emptiness that had taken hold of her.

"You can’t save me, Jeremy," she said softly, her voice almost breaking. "I’m beyond saving."

He shook his head, his chest tightening with the weight of her words. "No, you're not. I won’t let you ruin your life, not like this."
