you’re not noticed very much at hogwarts. you sort of float in the background. people don’t dislike you, at least you don’t think they dislike you, you just don’t have many friends. you never have, people just aren’t naturally drawn to you.

everybody knows about the marauders. james potter, peter pettigrew, sirius black, and remus lupin. their names are known by everyone at the damn school. nearly everyone likes them. they’re popular, apparently funny, professors love them. you don’t understand how.

somehow you managed to do something, you’re not sure what, that got their attention. and it wasn’t positive attention. one day they just started being mean to you and you’ve learnt to deal with it.
