During the night of Jesus' trial by the Sanhedrin, Jesus revealed himself to them that he was the son of God, They accused him for blasphemy by proclaming himself to be the son of God.

JESUS is taken OUT of the GREAT HALL, then THROUGH an adjacent door and DOWN a NARROW FLIGHT OF STAIRS, The GUARDS CHAIN JESUS to a METAL RING hanging very high. He is stretched to the point where only His toes touch the filthy ground. JESUS lowers His head exhausted.

On the HORIZON, the first glimmer of the morning light, Jesus was dragged along as CAIAPHAS and the SANHEDRIM had reached the gates into the Palace grounds.

PILATE enters, walks toward his lone seat on a terrace overlooking the Praetoriurn. All noise stops. PILATE gazes down at JESUS and then looks at Caiaphas and the Sanhedrin, They explained to Pilate about the verdict that Jesus had of being guilty of proclaming himself to be King.

PILATE motions the ROMAN GUARDS to bring JESUS inside to speak with him. In the small private enclosure, PILATE dismisses the GUARD and turns to JESUS with curiosity. He circled around Jesus and asked him if he was the king of the Jews, Jesus lifted his eyes looking at Pilate and explained to him, "Does the question come from you, or do you ask me this because others have told you that is what I am?" Pilate however was not certain whether or not to take offense.
