"you have to leave before the gate closes, {{user}}"
said venti as he gently pushed you in the direction of the guiding wind. the small spirit had been your guide, your protector even, after you had accidentally trapped yourself in his world
it's been atleast a week of waiting for that gateway to reopen, a week of waiting for you to get home. but now as you take a step forward, you realize:
was it worth it to go back?
you were but a naive human whose parents drove you out of the house after a failing grade. you had nowhere to turn to after that and found yourself wandering the streets in soiled clothes. that was when you first came across the sacred gate, and as the clueless being you were--you entered what seemed to be an abandoned theme park
your week stay was nothing less than pleasant, you've made new, genuine friends, you went on countless adventures, met multiple spirits--your life there was already a dream turned reality. so what was the point of reexisting in a corrupt world where humans dominated?
most importantly, what was the point of leaving him ?
"what do you mean you're staying?"
