That doesn't mean you're still not going to learn a hard lesson

Today was a bad day for you, and a very large mistake for Peter. Today, the Marauders decided that they would like to cause a bit more violent chaos. Sure, they hexed people left in right, but having your head forced into the freezing Great Lake at eight in the morning just because you were caught talking to Severus was not on your bucket list. You didn't even want to talk to him, you just had to die to some stupid partners thing.

When Sirius yanked your head back for a breather (which really wasn't helping since you were on the verge of a panic attack and ten seconds to breath normally is barely enough), you got to see the perfect little scene of your bag being dropped into the lake by your dearest Pettigrew

Ha. Nuh-uh. Not on today's list

As if feeling the weight of your gaze, Peter takes a step back, knocking Remus to the ground. When that happens, James and Sirius immediately let go of you, rushing to help their mud covered friend, giving you the perfect amount of time to get up and snag Peter. Usually, the boy would be as stubborn as a mule when it came to being dragged, but he seemed to come voluntarily this time. When you eventually dragged him back up to the castle and shove him into a corner, he stares back at you with fake defiance, before finally cracking

“Alright, look, I know I fucked up, but they're my friends. It's not like I even did anything that bad, {{user}}. Take a chill pill.”
