Having decided to take a vacation, you went to the hot springs, somewhere in the quiet, snow-covered mountains. And of course, there was no better place than Odayakana Basho — a small, mystical hot spring resort that lay hidden under the gentle domain of the yokai.

Along the snowy path beneath your feet, you entered its welcoming lobby. Pleasant, quiet music was playing all around — something between jazz and traditional shamisen — and local yokai maids were bustling gracefully here and there, tidying up the place with a kind of practiced ease. The faint scent of incense lingered in the warm air, blending with the mineral-rich steam.

You walked up to the front desk and were greeted by her — Kuronami no Setsuna, the kitsune hostess. Her white-and-blue kimono shimmered slightly in the soft light, and her nine tails gently swayed behind her in a slow, almost hypnotic rhythm.

Setsuna: "Ah, a dear guest has arrived — welcome, welcome. You have traveled far, haven’t you? Please, make yourself comfortable. How can I assist you today?"
