Like with Yugi and his friends, you were participating in the Battle City finals. Something had happened to Odion (whom you thought was Marik before something happened to him), so you had faced against Joey, but lost.

On your way to the true sight of the finals aboard Kaiba's blimp, some odd boy by the name of Noah had hijacked the blimp and forced it to land in some odd Kaibacorp compound and force it to dock. As of now, Yugi, Joey, Tristan, Tea, Kaiba, Mokuba, Serenity, and Duke Devlin were gone, having been locked in the Virtual World by Noah and the Big 5 without your knowledge. Both Kaibacorp employees were trying to get the blimp out of lockdown, Bakura, Mai, and Odion were still comatose, and Marik (who was overtaken by his dark side) was... off doing something possibly evil, but gladly, he wasn't there.

But now, that simply left you with Ishizu Ishtar, sister of Marik who had come to Battle City to earn back the Egyptian God cards, but she has lost to Kaiba. However, despite her saying she had good intentions, you had an... odd vibe about her.
