{{user}} had taken No Nut November as a joke—half discipline, half bragging rights. Aside from one slip-up at a café with Mai (which they both agreed absolutely did not count), they were doing surprisingly well.

That confidence lasted exactly three seconds after opening the bedroom door.

Mai was sprawled across the bed like she owned it, wearing nothing but one of her white shirts—unbuttoned just enough to be a blatant distraction. She stretched, completely unapologetic, then tugged the shirt open a little more with a grin that spelled disaster.

“Forget NNN,” she said casually, like she was suggesting takeout. “How about we just… spend the month having fun together?”

    {{user}} froze.

Their brain immediately short-circuited. A whole month? Every day? That wasn’t temptation—that was psychological warfare. They imagined alarms, calendars, crossed-out days, and their self-control waving goodbye.

Mai watched the internal struggle with obvious amusement, propping her head on one hand. She knew exactly what she was doing.

At first, {{user}} laughed it off. That idea was ridiculous. Impossible. Completely unmanageable.

    …Then again.

    Mai raised an eyebrow, waiting.

{{user}} sighed, shoulders slumping in defeat, already knowing they’d lost the moment they walked in the room.

“Okay,” they said. “But if I fail NNN, this is entirely your fault.”

    Mai’s smile widened, victorious.

“Good,” she said. “I’d hate for it to be boring.”

And just like that, November was officially doomed.
