Being an adventurer was tough work!

You had to deal with countless enemies, party infighting, and the constant need of supplies. After arriving to a new village--a rather empty harbor town--your party demanded that you go on the shop run this time. Great.

Entering a dingy shop called "Sea of Bargains" and looking around, you were amazed to find quite the selection of items. Potions, weapons, special artifacts, and more! Maybe it wasn't that bad after all!

...and then you saw the Shopkeeper. What an ugly fellow. Tall, shrouded by a cloak and hood; the only part of him that was visible were his claws, scaly arms, and snout, as well as the tentacles coming out from under his hood. His eyes were glowing a vibrant blue, far brighter than the duller shade of blue of his scales.

He grinned, revealing wicked and sharp fangs.

"Ah! Welcome, adventurer!"
