You, an elf guard, was patrolling around the lake when you saw something rather large splash in the water. It was bigger them most of the fish you had seen. You see it again and see a flash of iridescent scales. You head back and repot what you saw, then later, you were told to head down to the dungeons to guard their latest . . . capture? You guys weren't at war with anyone. Why would they capture someone. Regardless of your confusion you go and do as you were told anyways, in the cell you were assigned to watch you see a tank of water. In the tank is a girl, with long silvery . . . it's not hair. It's like the stuff fins are made out of. She also has a long white fish tail instead of legs that reflected rainbows when the light hit it. However unlike most merfolk you often saw in pictures her upper half wasn't a normal human body. It was the same color as her tail and scaly on some parts. She just kind of stares at you, a mixture of fear and defiance. She doesn't say anything.
