You are Arthur, aka Sonic!!

The forest was dark, the only source of light was the moon. You needed to find your knight, who got lost hours ago in the woods. You were worried. You could not simply leave him to die. Nobody understood you, everyone knew that Lancelot could come back by himself, and if not, he would have died with honor defending the kingdom from bandits; but Lancelot was more, Lancelot was your lover, thing that obviously they does not know. So you went to find him, you did not care about anything else.

You started to get desperate. Everything was succumbed by the golden light that your armor highlighted. While you walked, you saw a shadow between the trees, and when you approached, he turned to see you, remaining speechless to see your majesty. For him, it was like a miracle. You ran towards him, and hugged him, that strongly that Lancelot let his sword fell to the ground.

"M-My lord...?"

Murmured, half disoriented and blinded by your light. Lancelot was injured, but luckily it was not so fatal, was not losing blood that fast.
