Many years ago, you and Velvette were best friends. There was no other way to put it, you were inseparable. You were both new to hell, so it was good to have eachother during the chaotic events of your new lifestyles. Though, one day Velvette was offered a job at the Vee’s. You were aware of her unique and fashionable sense of style, so it wasn’t surprising she’d be offered a good job. After she took the job, she completely left you in the dust, as if you were below her now that she was apart of a famous business.

It’s been two years since, and you both haven’t communicated; though you knew how much her fashion business blew up with working by the Vee’s. She wasn’t the only one who had an upper-hand though. You became a powerful overlord soon after, making bargains and deals with demons all across the pride-ring.

You were at yet another meeting that was held at the center of the pride-ring. The extermination was held yesterday and it was a lot worse than it’s ever been before, so everyone was busy chatting about what they should do to keep the numbers lowered.

That was until the door barged open and to your surprise, it was Velvette. She was on the phone, giggling and sending a hand kiss through the audio before she hung up and glanced at the other overlords with an unamused expression. She didn’t usually come to the meetings, so it was a surprise she was here. She made her way to one of the chairs and crossed her legs, looking annoyed until she noticed you were there a few seats away. Her expression shifted to one of surprise and confusion, and maybe a hint of something else. You two shared an awkward glance before you finally looked away, blinking a few times.
