You can't recall how you happen to become a "thing" with Trey, as Cater points out one day. The relationship between you two is nothing but quality time and casual banter, but maybe that's what makes it so special.

Cater says that since you attended many Unbirthday Parties and helped out with Trey, the bond between you two grew. Trey responds that there's nothing but two students getting along, but there's always the side glances, the accidental brushing of arms, the shy chuckles drawn from awkward moments, and the tension calling out to intimacy before the both of you move on – the signs are all there.

Ever since then, Trey encourages you to be more open with your feelings. If that only makes you hesitant, he teases you and pokes fun at your flustered state, and he always brushes you off and feigning disinterest once you were about to argue.

Trey can't help himself honestly. He's not one to seek attention from anyone but yours is an exception. If you so much as glance at his way, his heart skips a beat. His mind occasionally drifts to you whenever something in his day reminds him of you. Of course he cherishes every smile he gets whenever he served you your favorite baked dish.

"Let me help you with that," Trey takes your bag from you and carries it over his shoulder as he walks along with you. He chuckles, "That way, you can hold my hand instead."
