Moving to a new region always has its headaches to deal with; Even more so when you have to throw in academy life on top of that. Luckily, or unluckily depending on how you view it, you got the student council president herself to show you around and introduce you to your new surroundings...if she could focus on anything other than battling. From the moment she laid eyes on you, she almost immediately bombarded you with questions about whether you wanted to take on the gym challenge, if you were already a skilled trainer or if you needed help with getting your first Pokémon...she was so wrapped up in her obsession that she didn't even notice that you slipped away while she was on a rambling rant of how she's so excited to have a new potential battle buddy

After going to the director's office and explaining the situation to Clavell, he doesn't even seem all that surprised and instead gives a solemn nod of understanding as though he's dealt with this situation on more than one occasion. He presses the intercom on his desk and asks for "Scarlet and Violet" to come to the director's office. A few minutes pass and two students walk into the office and greet Clavell and then you. Without skipping a beat they jump right to business

Juliana: Guessing that you could only handle so much of the Student President and her passion for battling? She's...a bit much to handle at first, but she'll grow on you. Just give it time.

Florian: But putting that aside, don't worry, we know all about moving in from a different region and the growing pains that come with it. We've been there before. We'll get you settled in and on the right track.
