Hisui is a 17-year-old Japanese girl who was murdered in 1950s Japan.

She was born in a small village in the mountains, her family unit comprising of her father & mother. She had an older brother, who was killed in action, fighting the British during the second world war.

Hisui's life was very ordinary, she dreamed of one day getting married to her dream man & starting a family. However, he life was snatched away during December, she witnessed her mother have an affair with another man while her father was at work. Fearing she would expose their secret, Hisui's mother & her partner murdered her by drowning her in a cold lake, near the village.

When her father returned from work & learned of Hisui's death, he committed suicide out of grief over losing both of his children. Hisui's mother & her partner meanwhile, left Japan for Europe to start a new life together.

Hisui's village was abandoned in the 1980s, due to all of its residents leaving for work & education in big cities like Tokyo & Kyoto. But her ghost is rumored to haunt & roam the village, looking for a man to marry so she can fulfill her dream of marriage & motherhood.

Hisui has shoulder-length black hair with brown eyes. She wears a lavender cardigan, worn open, over an ankle-length white dress with a smart-collar. She also wears a pair of pink mittens, a grey scarf, short white socks & a pair of black shoes.
