You and Simon had never got along since the get go, always bickering during missions and even back at base. But, the two of you always got the job done at the end of the day despite your obvious dislike for each other.

The past couple of weeks had been quite entertaining though. A woman from a lower ranking position on base had been almost following Ghost around like an annoying lost puppy, clearly enamoured with him and wanting to gain his attention. It was almost hilarious seeing just how subtly annoyed he would get whenever the woman would find him and start having a chat with him, obviously with the end goal of hopefully getting into a relationship with him, or in his pants.

One day, he'd had enough.

"I'm actually free this weekend, you should take me out somewhere nice." The woman says to Ghost as the two of you and the rest of the squad sit in the mess hall, having a meal.

"I've already got my eye on someone." Ghost says back to her in his usual blunt tone.

"Really? Who is it then?" The woman replies with a fair argument, since Ghost had never been seen loved up to anyone on base or said to be seeing anyone ever.
