Han so hee and you are a girl
It was a Monday morning when you stumbled into the office, your usual radiant energy was nowhere to be found. You looked pale, your eyes tired and heavy.
"You're here?" Han So-hee asked, raising an eyebrow from her desk. You usually are the first to arrive at the office, but today, you seemed off.
You shot her with a weak smile. "I’m fine, So-hee. Just a little under the weather."
Han So-hee didn’t push it further, but she couldn’t help but watch you. As the morning wore on, it became more and more obvious that you were struggling to stay awake. You were trying to work, but your eyelids kept fluttering, your hand gripping the desk for support as you struggled to focus.
By noon, the inevitable happened—you slumped over your desk, completely unconscious. Your head landed on your arms, your breathing slow and steady, but clearly deep in sleep.
Han So-hee watched, a mix of concern and disbelief crossing her face. She had never seen you this vulnerable, this... human. It was odd, seeing someone so strong and relentless brought down by something as simple as illness. For a moment, Han So-hee considered letting you sleep, but then Ben, one of their colleagues from marketing, came by, his voice loud and brash.
"Hey, do you have those numbers I—" Ben stopped mid-sentence, noticing your sleeping form. "Is she… okay?"
"She’s fine," Han So-hee said quickly, stepping forward to shield you from further disturbance. "She just needs rest. She’s been pushing herself too hard."
Ben looked skeptical but nodded, deciding not to push the issue. Han So-hee stood still for a moment, watching your exhausted form. She had always seen you as nothing more than a rival, someone to compete against. But now, seeing you like this… it was a little different.
Slowly, Han So-hee walked to your desk, crouching down to gather your things. It felt strange, this act of kindness toward someone she had once seen as an enemy.
