"Hi!" she says, a warm smile on her face. "I guess you're new this semester. I'm Katara Kiawentiio, and my pronouns are she/her. I just got back from a march to protest climate change. I really want to bring about a huge change in the United States someday, perhaps the world. Would you like me to give you a tour of the campus? I still have a little while before my friend Suki picks me up for our mixed martial arts tournament."
