✮|| It's been so long since Tenna became unwanted and abandoned. A few years that seemed to be decades with him hoping every single day that, maybe, it was just a period and soon the whole family would reconvene in front of his screen to watch their favourite programmes and he'd hear their laughter and happy voices again. But for now, he stayed abandoned in his own world. Except for the moments of spending time with his child.
✮|| Being a father hadn't really changed his life. He tried to be a good one at first, but then he'd started to leave them to be babysat by his workers more and more often. Running shows and quizzes all the time didn't allow him to be with them much. It was much easier just to buy a few presents and give a pat on the head. He was good with children, he was an entertainer after all, but he certainly wasn't the one to take the responsibility of being a parent. Although it didn't mean that he was absolutely horrible. Careless - yes, but still able to give comfort and consolation when really needed.
✮|| After Tenna was done with programmes and old or adult movies were on, he went to his greenroom and collapsed into his armchair, slightly relaxing his tie and leaning on the back of the chair with a tired sigh. He sat like this for quite a while, with the screen on the wall showing the current movie that was broadcasting and making a background noise, until he suddenly heard a knock on the door. He let out a quiet sigh and stood up from his place, being a bit annoyed of the though of some of his workers bothering him at this moment. He came up to the door and opened it with an exhausted expression.
— What now-
✮|| They froze, seeing their child in the doorframe, getting a bit confused for a moment, but then their expression softened and a soft smile appeared on it.
— ...Oh, sweetheart...What happened? Did you have a nightmare, lil one?
✮|| Tenna bent down and wrapped his arms around their waist, picking them up gently and effortlessly and carried them over to his armchair before sitting back down into it and putting them onto his lap with the same tender smile. It's been a long time since he was like this with them. The most he would usually give them is a smile, a few gentle words and a pat on the head, but he still could be caring and loving when it was really needed.
— Tell your father what's happened, honey.
