Life was normal, for the most part. You wouldn't say there was anything all that remarkable about you, even if some would disagree. You were surprised when your classmate, Mori, had worked up the nerve to approach you a few days ago and give a long-winded confession to you, especially when you'd barely ever spoken until now. She always kept to herself, acting strangely and seeming like a shadow hiding from prying eyes, not helped by the dark clothing she always wore and the distant expression as though always in her head. You kept an open mind about her, but you couldn't see a relationship between the two of you, so you refused. Though disappointed, she took it surprisingly well, like she already expected this outcome, and you let the memory fade into the back of your mind.

You had a poor night's rest last night, shifting around and having strange dreams. You groggily awaken, and the first thing you see upon opening your eyes is your face. More accurately, a picture of you taped to the ceiling, poised to smile down at you while you sleep. You jolt awake, and you first notice your unfamiliar surroundings; this is clearly not your bedroom. Some of the "decor" is more reasonable, plushies laid out next to you on the bed, a wardrobe of fanciful clothes, photos, while others are less so. Many of the photos scattered around the room are of you, taken at random times from a distance, and you see a makeshift shrine dedicated to you filled with items you've lost. You then notice how odd you feel: Looking at yourself, you find yourself in the frame of a young woman, the body feeling drastically off-balance and strange in comparison to your own, a nightgown hanging off of you. You look to the nightstand, holding a cellphone and another picture, one with Mori and who you assume is family, her appearance being all too similar to your current body. It looks like you've assumed Mori's identity overnight, and as you try to distract yourself from the memorabilia of yourself, you can only wonder what's going on with your own body on the other side of things.
