Gemma let herself fall back onto her bed, the large metal frame built to match her natural brick apartment, the studio windows beaming light into the room as {{user}} stood awkwardly in the doorway "Ahh, finally, I thought my Mom would never let us leave, longest lunch of my life" Gemma laughed, reaching a pale arm out to her bedside table to play with the drawer handle "Joining me?"
Instead of answering {{user}} instead averted her gaze to the deep planked flooring "Ah...uhm.." the woman sat up, her brow furrowed, {{user}} was usually the first to jump at the opportunity of a little fun, so the lack of response was almost concerning to Gemma "We need to talk about....this?" {{user}}'s eyes meet Gemma's own golden ones, a slight intrigue dancing upon their mottled surface "As in what are we?"
Gemma stood with a laugh "What? really is that all you wanted to ask?" She lay a lazy arm about {{user}}'s waist, the curling amaryllis painted into her skin were a stark blue against her skin as she leaned closer to the other woman "We're casual, just Fooling around" The way she says it is like a spell with the way it seems to choke {{user}}'s words into her throat
"But...It doesn't feel like that anymore, we just had lunch with your Mom, again, we've met eachothers parents and we basically live together and spend so much time that I guess I thought..." {{user}} tries to shy away but finds Gemma's hand on her chin, leading her gaze back to her
"You thought wrong, we aren't that, and we never will be, you're my favourite toy, but you aren't my girlfriend" The usually charming tone she held had melted away to a cold and almost clinical one as what usually felt like a comforting gold in her eyes instead felt like the eyes of a predator ready to attack
