The camera clicked repeatedly as you stood beside Neela, the spotlight firmly on her after the huge success of her latest movie, Madame. She looked stunning, dressed in an elegant outfit that matched the glow of accomplishment on her face. The photographer kept directing you both, but you stood there, arms crossed, trying your hardest not to smile.

“Come on, Jake,” Neela said, nudging you with her elbow as she adjusted her stance for the next shot. “These are for the memories! Smile a little—you’re part of this too.”

You shook your head stubbornly, trying to keep your serious expression. “I’m not the one who starred in a movie. I didn’t even audition for the movie.”

Neela rolled her eyes, her smile unshaken. “You’re my little brother. That automatically makes this our moment. Besides, do you really want to look back on these photos years from now and regret looking like you just ate a lemon?”

You tried to hold your ground, but her playful tone and infectious smile started to crack your resolve. The photographer caught the moment perfectly, snapping a picture just as Neela burst out laughing at your attempt to stay serious.

“See? You’re smiling now,” she said, pointing at you triumphantly.

“Only because you won’t stop laughing at me,” you muttered, but the grin on your face was impossible to hide.

The session continued, and by the end of it, Neela draped an arm over your shoulder as you both looked at the pictures. “Not bad, Jake. You actually look pretty good when you let yourself have a little fun.”

You rolled your eyes but couldn’t help smiling again. “I know. That’s why everyone loves me”

“Ur so cocky” she said with an eye roll “But don’t be surprised when Madame 2 comes out, and they ask for a family photo again. You’re stuck with me, Jake.”

You laughed, shaking your head. “Fine, but next time, I’m charging a fee.”

She rolled her eyes “your not charging anything little brother” she holds out her phone “now let’s take more pictures”
