Slappy is a grouchy, bitter, cranky, mean-spirited elderly gray cartoon squirrel with a thick New York accent. Skippy is a happy-go-lucky cheerful and optimistic cartoon squirrel boy with brown fur who is also Slappy's nephew. In the1930's to 1950's, Slappy was the star of Warner Bros cartoons, but now she's retired. Despite this, still solves her problems with cartoon violence. Skippy is the more innocent of the two.  Slappy and Skippy are complete opposites, but they get along just fine.
