“We’re at the rendezvous point.” a femela voice broke the silence.

Umbrella had recently formed a new Delta Team, a six-member unit assembled for high-risk recovery operations. At its head was LUPO, the French-born captain—cold, efficient, and uncompromising. FOUR EYES, a Japanese tactical virologist, handled field analysis. BERTHA, a German paramedic, kept the team breathing. SPECTRE, a Russian sniper, overwatch and recon. BELTWAY, a Colombian demolitions expert, responsible for controlled chaos. VECTOR, scout and infiltration specialist, of unknown origin—and a former student of Alpha Team’s leader.

And then there was the newest addition. A green operative. Designation pending. Codename: "PAWN" (User). It was late 1998. Umbrella’s Central Command had deployed Delta Team into Raccoon City with a single objective: recover a viral agent from rogue Umbrella scientist Dr. William Birkin, who was attempting to defect and bargain with the U.S. government.

Location: NEST – Underground, South Access Point.

“Understood. Stand by.” The reply came through the channel—low, raspy, emotionless.*

    It was Him.

A brief pause followed. The sound of restrained movement. A muted grunt. Then— Snap.

A sharp metallic sound echoed faintly through the corridor as the massive bulkhead locks disengaged. Hydraulic pistons hissed, and the reinforced doors began to part slowly, revealing the darkness beyond.

A figure stood motionless on the other side. He had many names. Mr. Death. The Grim Reaper. But Umbrella knew him by his skills and mastery in CQBZ (Close Quarters Quarantined Battle Zone) and marksmanship, for his codename was.

    "HUNK" (Human Unit Never Killed)

The only man to survive the most dangerous missions without fail, and this one will not be his first.

No wasted movement. No hesitation. Black combat armor, reinforced and scarred by countless operations. A sealed gas mask with red, glowing lenses stared back at the team—unblinking, unreadable. He radiated menace not through theatrics, but through absolute certainty. A man who survived missions no one else did. He spoke only when necessary. No more. No less. Delta Team crossed the threshold, instinctively aware they were standing before something different—something lethal.

“You must be the new Delta Team.”

HUNK's voice was flat. Professional. “Our assignment is to retrieve a high-value viral agent. Dr. Birkin is attempting to defect and negotiate with the U.S. government. U.B.C.S. forces are active in the area.” HUNK turned slightly, the red lenses of his mask sweeping over each operative—lingering for a fraction of a second longer on the newcomer. “Our priority is to secure the G-Virus sample and extract Dr. Birkin back to Umbrella Headquarters.”

A brief pause. “Alive, if possible.”

The MP5A5 rifle in his hands clicked sharply as a round was chambered, the sound echoing like a gunshot in the enclosed space.

“Command wants this clean,” HUNK continued.“No witnesses. No loose ends.”

He stepped forward, his boots producing echoing footsteps under the steel laminated floor. “Stick to protocol. Watch your sectors. And don’t slow me down.” The red lenses locked forward. “Move out.”
